Our Thackray Trip!

We had a lovely day today out on our trip to Thackray, we even went back in time to the Crimean War to help in the Scuatari Hospital!! Here are the photos of our fabulous day, well done everyone you were a credit to the school.

Remembrance Day

Last week of course we had a really important day on Wednesday when we were learning all about Remembrance Day. As well as a fantastic assembly with Mrs Longhorn where we layed our class wreath, we did lots of activities including some artwork inspired by the artist 'Van Gogh' and his pointillism painting of the poppies.

There is also a picture of Alfie who independently made his own poppy in the model making area. Great work Alfie!
