Dance Coach - Disney Dance!

On Friday we had our first dance session with the dance coach themed around Disney. We had to move to different songs from famous Disney films and then make freeze frames or certain characters either in pair or threes. We had to work as a group/pair to make ourselves look like that character.

The characters were: Simba from Lion King, Mrs Potts and the teapot from Beauty and the Beast, the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio and Mikey Mouse.

'The Black Hat' Maia Walczak

This week in literacy we have been looking at the story of 'The Black Hat' by Maia Walczak. We were then having a debate about whether we think that animals should be kept in cages. We looked at both sides of the argument and we set up our own cage in the classroom so we could put ourselves in the position of different animals and discuss how we felt and what we thought!
