Capacity in Maths

As part of our maths curriculum, we need to be able to read various scales on a range of equipment and we were looking a capacity in particular the other week. We were learning what unit of measure you measure capacity in (millilitres and litres) and how many millilitres there are in a litre (1000). We were then experimenting in the water with different containers looking at how much liquid they help and what happened when Miss Morris asked questions such as 'What if you add another 150ml' or 'What happens if you half the amount of liquid you have in your container?',
